All Aboard!

As soon as I saw these glasses I knew what I was going to draw. Unfortunately, It took me quite awhile to get to this. The holidays were way busy. I actually liked this a lot better when it was black and white. I really wish watercolor worked better on these pages, but I am moderately happy with the colored pencil too. I hope this "punches my ticket" as an honorary member of the portrait party.

Chris, off to you tomorrow.

Expose Yourself to Art(ist)

Szaza, I'm sorry. I saw this picture of you in your portrait file and thought, "what is she looking at?" So, I had to draw myself showing you my big, shiny, new belt buckle. I hope you like it.

Here is what Szaza's whole book looks like so far:

Robin's portrait

Finally I finished Robin's portrait. Of all his photos I like this the most because the way he proudly shows the fish he just caught.
I hope he likes it :)

What the...

Here is Marty's book, finally.

I learned a couple things working on this Moly. One is that when the page right in front of the one your doing is pretty heavily painted, try something other than watercolor. Melissa, your page still looks great, but that dark color really affected the page my portrait is on. So a lot of adjustment was needed. The other thing is that I really am enjoying this because it is forcing me to draw again. Thanks gang.

Oh, and Chris, there is some bleed-through on the next page. Good luck with that.
