I was doing the self-portrait side without sketching it in pencil first while my sister tried to have a conversation with me, so it is... somewhat less successful!

When my husband asked what I wanted for mother's day I told him that I wanted time to draw Chris's face. Mission Accomplished and a very happy mother's day to the moms in the group. Chris, hope you don't mind me swiping this pic from your facebook set.

Emma's Book: Kidding Aside

This should lay to rest the tiresome southern hemisphere jokes. This is the last, Emma, I promise.

If you look a little dirty faced, Emma, I apologize for that as well. You all know how tough it can be to work with water media in these books. I have embraced it, though, and have grown to embrace the accidents that always occur. I hope you will accept that excuse, and enjoy the picture.
