Here's my self-portrait.
On my head is this Indonesian headdress that I am in love with at the Asian Art Museum. I keep telling myself I'll make one out of papier maché someday, until then, a drawing will work.
I'd love it if everyone could write a little something on the back of their entry— your name, completion date, materials used and anything else you'd like to share!

As for your hat....I remember one movie that I saw when I was a little girl. It was about magic pencil that anything that you draw with it turns to be real.

Anyone else experiencing a little performance anxiety? I am amazed at how much detail you have packed into that little page.
I've got some major performance anxiety now. Especially since I butchered my self portrait yesterday and now I'm trying to figure out how to fix it.

Very nice. I guess we all have something to shoot for. However, I have been impressed by several pieces here so far, all in their own ways.
