Lisa's Boat Trip

Sitting in a gallery shop for seven hours does wondrous things. Lisa's Moly now ready to be sent out to the next person. Hopefully this one is not long from home now. Looking pretty good.

Marina is now a monster too

Today was Moleskine day. I have only Lisa's now on my desk and a plan in my head. This is my little two piece monoprint and paint monster thing to go to Marina, that was also in a state of half done for weeks. Marina has been a trooper still working away in other people's books, long after her's disappeared into the dead letter black hole. Maybe. (I have a moleskine there too, so I know how it feels).

I hope to have Lisa's done and sent off to Jan sometime in the next week or so.

June 2012 Update

Hi Everyone. Lost the original file when I turned in my laptop last week, but reconstructed this from the website. As always, let me know if something seems off. If you currently don't have something to draw in, please consider making a little something to send to Marina and Kathleen. These two fabulous artists have been committed to working in each of our books, even when their own have gone missing. It would have been easy to give up, bow out and say "no fair" but they didn't. I will be completing a loose sketch to send to Marina (as I did for Kathleen) since she is without a book, which will be the last one I owe to the group.  Szaza, I would love to have an entry from you before mailing my book back to me, but if you find that you are unable, I would really like to have my book back before summer's end. I will gladly forward the excel file for the progress chart to whomever would like to take the reins from this point. Thanks-

WOW. Lot's of things change in 2 years. I can't believe it was really that long since I have posted an entry. But I think it is. I guess a year-and-a-half. Too long. Sorry about that. And Jan, sorry to have held your book for so long. So, here is the long-awaited entry. I know... THAT took 2 years? Well, no. It took a couple days. Which is why I often wonder why I waited so long. It's the same way with projects around the house too.

I decided to pick up on Zaza's last entry and play off of the feathers. No, I do not usually wear a feather boa. The only color is in our blue eyes. That way I can leave out the gray hair.

Anyway, this book is on the move again. Unless I hear any objections, I will send it on to Chris which is the normal flow of things.

After years of break I was happy and excited to get back to this great group! I've forgot how fun it was - all these Moly exchanges, interacting with different artists from all over the world!
So here it comes - Chris' book with my entry. I don't really know how I've come to this image, maybe that's what Chris' cool photographs associate with for me.

Congratulations

I wanted to congratulate Samantha on her work in Gabriel's new book. I picked up my copy today and it is killing me to put it down for the brief moment to type this. If you haven't had a chance to check it out may I suggest you do?

My apologizes for a long, LONG hiatus. Life has been so very.... life, i guess. I still love this group very much, and all of you who are in it.
