Melissa's Moly

Hi all. I finally finished Melissa's moly. You can see just a bit of Robin's entry. I've rotated the image 90 degrees (and the drawing of me is upside down). I've mentioned elsewhere that I've been in a bad slump. I finally seem to have gotten myself out of it. Not that I'm doing good drawing, just I'm drawing again.

Melissa, I hope you like it. It's a bit different than what I normally do. It was fun. Melissa's whole Moly book can be found here.

Robin's entry wasn't displayed in our blog, was it?

Chris, that's a very organic continuation of the previous entries! Well-done! Melissa is easily recognizable))

No, Robin's entry wasn't in our blog. That's why I scanned the whole thing and made a note on my flickr page. Robin's entry looks really good :-)

Yes, I was running late with getting it finished and I forgot to scan it before i already had it in the envelope to go to Chris. Looks good. I like the way you have tied it in. BTW, Melissa, you will need to fill in your vital info on your drivers license. I decided it woud be best to leave it blank.

Wow. Thank you both. I really love the way robin has the licenses flying into space to make it more dimensional. And Chris, I can imagine the eyes going crazy with that dotted beehive pattern. Amazing entries, both. Thanks!!

And you've captured my father's biggest complaint "get the hair out of your eye!"

So creative! No sign of slump here at all! I'm off to check the other images now.

Great!

So many different styles and techniques in this project, that's wonderful.
