Great concept for your intro page. I actually like the way the color got a little granulated - it gives another layer.
Rather colourful! And much realistic!!!
The moto for your gesture-"Hey, have you finished your portrait?" ((=
May I make this humble suggestion for you to try? After you make your ink drawing, rub the paper with a clean kneaded eraser. I'd say you can't rub super lightly. Aply pressure. It takes off the weird "sizing" from the moleskine page, and permits the watercolors to adhere a little better. Also, gouache, with it's fuller body, stays put slightly better than the watercolor. See if this works for you, and let me know. Oh, and that is a terrific, strong drawing, by the way.
woooow! what a cool selfportrait, Rama!
Ha! Olja!
That's exatly what I felt Rama's saying from his drawing: have you finished your portrait?
I don't started yet... :(
Rama! Superb portrait!
Great job Rama. I really like it.
@pompatooie I think it's great to give pointers to other artists. I'm always looking for different ways to do things or new techniques to try. It's one of the best reasons to work on projects like this :)
I would love to draw your portrait!
:-O
This is a super selfportrait! I love your ink drawings!!!
Rama, lovely drawing, simple and expressive. Bravo! I think you won this round over the moleskine.
