Tis the season
Amazing Moly Artists:
First, to Lisa - Thank you so much for investing your personal time into tracking down the whereabouts of each book. It makes me a little sad to think of this group not finishing out.
So, in the spirit of the season, I have one brand new moly to donate to the group. A little Chrismahanukkwanza gift to us all.
Here's what I am asking in return:
In the next few days, can everyone who should have received a missing book please follow up on Lisa's research (see her comment in the previous post) with the local postal/customs office. And can those who have sent books please supply the tracking numbers/confirmation tickets via email to whomever you mailed the book to?
If your book is missing and you want to accept the book from me as a gift, please leave a comment here. I will gift it to the first person to respond AFTER midnight (Eastern Standard Time, USA) January 1st, 2010.
Wishing you all peace, love and creativity in 2010.

emma & i
Sorry, this has taken sooooo long getting done. I have worked on it a little here, and a little there. Emma's moly have traveled with me to soccer games, piano practices, Las Vegas, performance of the Jungle Book, and many other places... tonight I thought I had best get it done and off to Marty (that is who I send to now, right??)
The next one I have in my stash is RĂ©mi's book. I already have an idea for this one...so hopefully it wont drag on for months! :))) Hope everyone is doing well!

The Eyes Have It
At long last... here is my portrait of Lisa. Well, I guess it is more of an eye study with a peeping eye (mine) through a square hole in the paper. I had planned on finishing this a month ago but other things got in the way. But, I have no others behind this one so it looks like I am on a break for a bit. But please keep them coming.
Off to Chris now. I hope you're ready.

AnnaDenise's entries in Marty and in Melissa's book
Hey all!
I decided to spend my free Friday-morning on finishing the two books I had laying around.
Marty's Moly was up first:
The silly picture of him, reminded me of a silly picture of me. So now we're silly together. I hope you like it Marty!
Next up was Melissa's Moly:
I realize I look kind of pissed, but at least it sort of looks like me. I hope you recognize yourself, Melissa...? I decided to go for the gorgeous picture with the beautiful curly hair you've included, but I think you wear your hair differently now?
Also, while I have the mic, do any of you know where my Moly is? Remi was supposed to have sent it to Marina in May (because of the baby), but she hasn't received it yet. Remi, not sure if I have your right e-mail address / if you check your Flickr mail, but have you sent out the book? Let me know, ok? I'm worried.
Have a great weekend!
Love, Anna Denise

AnnaDenise's entry in Robin's book
Hey all!
I just finished my entry in Robin's book. As usual, I am seriously doubting whether I will ever be able to draw portraits that ever actually look like the people I draw. But, I figured, there are so many supertalented people in this group, I'll be the one to balance things out, right? Too much brilliance can't be good ;-)
Well, hope you all had a great weekend!
Love, Anna Denise

FYI
I just received Marty's book in the mail today from Olya! It's lovely, can't wait to start working on it.
I still have Robin's Moly. I am nearly done with my entry, but am not quite satisfied yet. Hope to work on it some more this weekend and send it out to Emma.
Hope all is well with everyone everywhere!

Meet a New Football Fan
Hi the group again(= It seems that all the latest posts are mine! Ha ha.
Here is my entry into Marty's Moly.
Well well well...in Russia each second man is a football fan, there is such a great variety of teams to choose.I thought that if Marty lived here he would definitely support some of these teams!
Ta-ta-m! Meet Marty in football fan's hat (with Scandinavian horns-I have no idea why they wear such) in colours of the Russian flag shouting a usual football supporters' motto (the translation is in the pocket, but if you are interested I can put it here). He supports the national football team passionately!
Ole-ole-ole!!!
Cheers
(*dunno why but the images I put here are cut =( )
The Moly is ready to be sent to AnnaD these days, and I will have only Samantha's then.

So long
Hello dear artist
I'm sorry to announce I won't continue on the exchange.
Soon I'll be moving from my country so is going to be difficult for some time.
I hope everybody is ok and continue with this marvelous project.

Rama's book.
Hey, who's got Rama's book. I'm thinking that it might be fun to finish it off, get as many portraits as possible in it in honor of the Portrait party inspiration. Shall we keep it circulating?

Moly Show starring Robin and Olya
Hello dear all!
Finally I started doing all the Molies I have. I beg you a huge pardon-but I still want to participate in this amusing Moly Exchange project and will speed up with the books I've got at the moment:-)
Here is Robin and I with fluffy clown's noses. The piece is done in colour pencils fixed by some spray. Hope you smiled having seen it (=
The book is ready to be off tomorrow to Anna-D's new address.
Hugs
Olya

Marina's Moly
Hello All!!
here is my addition to Marina's Moly finally....
Her sign in page took many photo references to finally find one... I really only dance well in my own mind, or after a few shots... :) However it was fun to dance a little this evening while listening to the iPod...
Here is my little exchange of fairies on the wind.....

Please help the victims of the Australian bushfires
I've been helping a lot in the Etsy shop opened to raise money for the victims of the Victorian bushfires here. I thought I'd give it a plug, I hope you don't mind, it is a very good cause.
Artists and crafters from all around Australia and the world have donated items to be sold and all of the proceeds will go to the Red Cross appeal. Plus there is free shipping on everything. How can you help? Visit the shop, browse and buy. Your item will come to you in the mail. Or you can contact the shop and donate items to be sold. It's a great way to help. In 6 short days over 300 items have been sold and more are added all the time. Please check it out.
http://OzBushfireAppeal.etsy.com
There are other ways to help too. If you would prefer you can donate money directly to the Red Cross. Emma has her own fundraising drive through her shop benconservato. I have items in my shop The Little Shop of Horus the proceeds will go to the appeal. In fact many Etsy sellers do, so try a search of 'bushfire appeal'. I'm sure you will find something you want!

All Aboard!
As soon as I saw these glasses I knew what I was going to draw. Unfortunately, It took me quite awhile to get to this. The holidays were way busy. I actually liked this a lot better when it was black and white. I really wish watercolor worked better on these pages, but I am moderately happy with the colored pencil too. I hope this "punches my ticket" as an honorary member of the portrait party.
Chris, off to you tomorrow.

Little foxes
.
My entry for Emma's moleskine, with a dip pen and ink. Whenever I think of Emma's art I think of little foxes, but these ones have escaped. (That's me on the cover of the book). You can see a close-up here.
